Mountain environment discovery and exploration
New for 2008!
Run in conjunction with the Lake District National Park. Led by specialist teachers with experience and knowledge of the curriculum and the outdoors. Pupils work together solving problems and challenges in an introductory "Skills for the Hills" session, and choose from a range of activities including a mountain discovery walk, contrasting locality, habitat investigation and a farm visit.
